Mr. D.G. Rao, Chairman, Ion Exchange
Services Limited had done B Sc., AMIE. He is trained in the plastic
industry (1948-49) followed by power stations (1952-53) and then in
Transformer Design with Crompton Parkinson (Works) Ltd., (1955).
Thereafter he joined J. Stone (I) Ltd.'s Permutit Agency Department in
1955 as a commissioning engineer and helped in sales and setting up
local manufacture of water treatment plant. In 1965 he joined Ion
Exchange (India) Ltd. (IEI) as Manager - Sales and was later appointed
as General Manager - Sales & Contracts in 1967; he opted for
retirement from IEI in 1974. From 1974-77 he was a partner of Materials
& Services, Bangalore and helped to set up and expand their
business as agents for IEI. He worked as a Consultant in industrial
water treatment from 1977-79 and directed plant and process development
programmes. Rejoining IEI in October 1979 as General Manager -
Corporate Development, he helped in setting up the Water Treatment
Chemicals Division, by introducing electrochlorinators and water
quality products to the Indian market and expanding IEI's polymer and
carbon sales. After retiring from IEI as Vice President - Corporate
Development he joined the company’s Board of Directors in 1997. |

Mr. Rajesh Sharma is Chairman &
Managing Director and on the board of Director of Ion Exchange (India)
Ltd and Ion Exchange Services Ltd, the leaders in water treatment
having experience of more than 4 decades in providing Total
Water Management solutions to all sectors – homes, industries
& communities, urban & rural. Mr. Sharma joined the
Company in 1974 and has held a number of sales, marketing and
management positions. Before taking up the office of Managing
Director from 1st April 2000, he was the Deputy Managing Director. He established the company’s international business division, including its 100% EOU and has developed business relationships with leading engineering contracting companies and business & technology partnerships with leading companies in Europe, Japan, South East Asia and the Far East. Mr. Sharma has extensive knowledge about the company’s technologies and products, and possesses outstanding marketing expertise and leadership ability. Mr. Sharma is a member of various National Committees of leading Engineering Associations. He has chaired technical seminar sessions organised by various Associations and also presented papers in India and abroad on water and wastewater treatment and water conservation topics. |

Mr.M.P.Patni,
Director on the Board of Ion Exchange (I) Limited and Ion Exchange
Services Limited, is an engineering graduate from BIT, Mesra. After
working for 4 years with Hindustan Motors he got associated with
Marketing and Selling of Projects, Water treating equipment & Resin
of Ion Exchange (India) Ltd. and has helped to win prestigious large
contracts ever since. He joined the board of Ion Exchange (India) in
2001. |

Mr.
Dinesh Sadasivan is ED and CEO of Ion Exchange
Services Ltd, pioneers
in the field of Total Water and Environment Management. He is also a
member of Corporate Management Team of Ion Exchange (India) Ltd. and
Director of Total Water Management Services (India) Ltd. He is an Engineering graduate with Masters in Marketing Management from the University of Mumbai and has over 18 years of extensive experience in General Management. He joined Ion Exchange (India) Ltd. in 1993 and focused on the after-sales service business and consolidated the complete service operations as an independent company in the form of Ion Exchange Services Ltd. His key responsibilities include strategic business planning and goal- setting, monitoring business operations, human resources management, national & international service business development and organizational development in general. Based at Bangalore, he travels extensively, particularly throughout Asia. Under his executive leadership, Ion Exchange Services Ltd. has emerged as the largest, organized & branded service network in water treatment industry across Asia. He has spearheaded the company’s several Value Added Service initiatives and added various products & services in the business of Ion Exchange Services to optimize usage of water as also conserve and reuse it for sustainable development. His sole determination led to IESL owning a brand new integrated large corporate facility in Bangalore titled ‘ION HOUSE’ with latest ERP systems from SAP. He has obtained many firsts of its kind recognitions for IESL business like the prestigious Commendation from Indian Merchant Chambers Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award under the service category and signed many strategic tie-ups for business expansion, the last being with Kirloskar Brothers Ltd. He is also a professional trainer in the area of soft skills development and member of various associations such as International Facilities Management Associations, Indian Association of Amusement Parks & Industries etc. He has attended many management programs conducted by premier institutions like the IIM’s. |
